Hey everyone, and I have been thinking about a new little thing we could do as a group for Canada. It’s not a contest, so you can take as long as you want to find the right image, or go out and take one, or draw one of your favourite place, point is, this will really have no deadline to it.

The focus of this is your home town. Please send us a link of the image you think best describes the place you live. We would also like a small entry to go with the image for the group, explaining how your home makes you feel, why you love it where you are, and what makes it unique to yourself. As was said before, there is no deadline for this, and there is no right or wrong, but plesae follow DA rules.

We would like to ask for one entry per group member, it’s only fair as many of us do live in the same towns or city’s. Each entry will be posted on the group, and featured in the journal as they come in. Remember, it’s not a contest, so don’t rush, make it how you want it, and you like it as it’s really a self-expression of your home town.

Just a side note, the image or drawing doesn’t have to be new, it could be something you took years ago, or something you took late week. So look through all those pictures or drawings, find the one that closest to your heart, send it in with a small explanation, short story of the photo, or poem as to why you love your home so much.

We will still be accepting regular club entries as well, so please let us know if you would like your submission to be a part of this home town event. Rules for submitting can be seen further down in the journal.

***How to submit***
We encourage our members send in submissions that have a Canadian theme so that we can help showcase our country and our artists. Please limit your submissions to one at a time, we'd like to avoid members having back to back deviations in our gallery.

If you do wish to submit a deviation for the canada-club's gallery, all you have to do is send us a note titled “submission” with a link to your artwork.

Please don't comment or favorite on the deviation we've post here, i'm sure the artist would appreciate to have these comments and favorites on his own DA account.
